unrelated ad shows need suggestion

Hi, I have a site that gets about 12,000 unique visitors per day. It's a urban community site. I have a couple problems with adsense:

1. Relavant ad displays on the main page but not on the other pages. No matter what content i put on the other pages the ads seem to be all dating ads and usually the same ad all the time. The site is designed in php. Is there a reason why only the main page shows good ads but not the other pages?

2. Because of the bad ads, I'm only able to scrape out 25-$35/day from 12,000 unique visitors. However I use a couple other ad agencies such as tribal fusion and Traffic Marketplace and do significantly better with their ads than with google's.

any help getting my adsense to show ads based on the content of the pages would be greatly appreciated.

 

Have you tried to block some frequent sites in your adsense account?

 

No i have not blocked anything but the fequency of those ads is not really the concern, my concern is that the ads on the main page seems relavant to the content on the page but the adds on the other pages don't, they seem to be fixed no matter what the content is.

I got the following info from google but not sure how to do what they are suggesting:

My problem is just like you!
I also have about 12K of unique users each day without a relevant ads. It sucks!!
I'm now (just 15 minutes ago) started to write some good information (105 words) that including some good words that are relevant to my website and put google adsense help code around it, like this:

I'll need to wait and see if it helps but 15 minutes after the change I saw 1 ad from 4 in 1 ads unit that is relevant to my users and this ad was NEVER shown before!
Maybe this thing really words..I can only know in about 2 days or week but you can try just like me

it works for me for the first week and then suddenly the ads disppeared again

Maybe it would help more...Just need to give it some time.
