HI, I am somewaht new to web designing and I need some help.

I need to create a rock bands CMS site and here is the open source code I am trying to use:
    www<dot>auditionrocks<dot>com

I am currently using a free web host and I need to test to see how it works, before I start editing the php files to fi tmy interest.

In the install process, when I click install.php, and type in the necessary info, here is the error that I get:
    * Unable to set permissions on directory: /media/originals
    * Unable to set permissions on directory: /media/incomingsaying

I really need to get this working. If anyone thinks they are able to help, I am willing to give my test sits info (database name etc) so that they could try it out.

    Thanks alot for your help.

word of advice: unless you have experience with the free host or the site is expendable, make a back up of the site and database. 000webhost just deleted my webspace in a move to pressure me into to buying a paid plan. So be very careful and paid hosting these days is dirt cheap from large companies.

Connect to the server via FTP and set permissions (CHMOD) to those folders. From what I see they need at least 755, if not 777.

Free hosting accounts are a waste of time,
Its well worth spending £40-£50 a year for a service which works!

Why don't you install it on your local computer? I think this is a good way to test any script.
