URL shortening Service ?

Which URL shortening Service to shorten URLs to be posted on facebook ?
The facebook captcha is very troublesome.

 

I don't understand your question. You can use any shortening service on FB.
If you want to avoid captcha register your mobile phone number.

I always use su.pr for both Facebook and Twitter (and StumbleUpon). You can track your links as well using su.pr.

As for facebook captcha, its just a way of restricting automated bot submitters and few others who almost act like bots.

 

with Bit.Ly you can analyze who actually follows your links if that is something you want to do. I haven't personally done this, but I have read that it you are able to view who clicked your link and other data.

 

Bit.Ly links do not work, captcha window will pop up

i ask this question because some URLs will not have captcha window pop up,

so i am looking for other options

they are sucks as i am posting status update to my own profile, my own groups , etc

not talking about posting to other profiles or other groups

 

I try to avoid a url shortener, that way you get a backlink (nofollow, but from facebook its still high authority)

 

I use tinyurl and su.pr as well

 

I prefer to use tiny url. Simple, quick, easy.

 

Goog URL shorteners use a 301 redirection, though they pass the pagerank.

Bit.ly is one of the best i've used. Re: the ability to track click etc, you can take any bit.ly link and just add a + symbol onto the end of the shortened URL in your browser and this will bring you straight to a stats page where you get a breakdown of all sorts of information on your link.

 

I use budurl b/c I can track my links to find out which work getting me traffic.

 

tinyurl and bitly is my recommendation. I haven't had any problems with them.
