US/Canada import tax and VAT for EU product=?

    Hi guys,

    I'm humbly asking you for your expert opinion, since there are many people here with lots of experience.

    Anyway what I'm selling is a camera dolly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_dolly). I'm not just reselling this I'm actually producing this.
    I am based in European Union.

    What I need to know is if people from United States and Canada buy my product,... how much import tax and/or value added tax (VAT) do they have to pay once the shipment reaches US/Canada customs?
    The price for my product is just under $2000.
