USA Bank Account

    Hi,

I am from India and the only way I can fund my paypal account is via a credit card or a US Bank Account (which i dont have at the moment) . I need a US Bank Account to deposit and withdraw money from my paypal.

I have seen a lot of sites online, some ask for $50 for info, some $20 and claim you can open with a photo id.

Is there any legit sites you know of ?

Also, any debit card with a bank account attached ?

    Thanks
    Gautam

you're better off using an alternative to paypal like moneybookers or egold instead.

you might have to work it out with someone so they pay that person and then that person pays you in turn -- giving them a comission for the service they are providing you.

Why not request a check from paypal to withdraw your money from them?

You can open a US account with etrade. They provide you with a visa debit card which can be used to verify paypal as well as withrawal of paypal fund through the bank.

    Good Luck :)

EDIT: I recently opened a US bank account with eTrade with the help of a very nice article by a great DP member Ruslan (Abuzant) . I can guide you if you like :)

I don't think you can open a US bank account unless you are a resident. I might be wrong, though.

You could find someone in the service section and ask him/her to send you some paypal funds and then you send the money to his bank (requirement:he should be from the same country with yours)

Check the trader's reputation and the number of post. A reputed member won't do a charge back ;)

btw where are you from in India? I am also an Indian :)

US bank account for non-residents should help you out. Keep in mind that just because you have a US bank account that Paypal might not consider you in the United States. They will also look at your IP address etc

Ok Just to clear up a few things :

I work with various affiliates some who pay by cheque. I need all money in my paypal. Suppose, I encash the cheque and try to fund my account only way I have is either a US Bank account or credit card.

Now I need this to deposit the cheque in my US Bank A/c and transfer the funds to my paypal. Secondly, withdraw funds from my paypal and transfer to my us bank account (not necessary, and would prefer a one with a debit card so i can withdraw)
