use of photoshop

How useful is photoshop for a SEO? in what way?

 

Photoshop for SEO? What do you mean? Photoshop is for images, and I don't think images relates to SEO?

 

Photoshop is a software where you can make web design and many things which just related to designing or editing ! don't think that photoshop would be useful in SEO !!

 

There is no connection between seo or photoshop, if you got something like that so please let me know too.

 

I wouldn't say it's completely unrelated. Photoshop can be used to alter pictures or create interesting visuals. Interesting visuals are always good to have on a blog post to make it more appealing, fill in space and you can tag the picture itself with keywords. As far as adding additional interest to content and some extra keywords, the use of Photoshop can be a nice addition to your site or blog.

 

It's not useful in any way to SEO.

 

I think photoshop & seo are completely different. Nothing similar between them. Photoshop is used to make a website or any image more good looking & better viewable. SEO is used to make a website appear on top pages of a search engine by using some user typed searched terms.

 

Photoshop is a software for graphic design while SEO means the process of improving the visibility of your website in search engine. So, photoshop and SEO are different. Is just that photoshop is very useful in terms of images and that images are being used by a site that optimized the images.

 

Photoshop have no link with SEO Photoshop just use for web designing...

 

Actually it does.

It can add meta tags along with copyright notes etc. to your images. If you know how to use it properly it will get you some help. Just make sure when you are doing "Save for web and devices.." don't strip all meta info from the img. An image can have lot of info inside the meta containers, all you need to do is fill them with yours and release to the web.

I think there is no direct connection between Photoshop and SEO, but indirectly we can make an interesting picture or banner on our website to improve SEO

 

Adding meta tags makes images in your site more searchable...each image having url of your site in meta will come up as one searched result in google, or adding context based keywords (eg XYZ discount, home delivery, free shipping etc etc ) images act as search results-- that might help you into getting some traffic.

 

I think there no any concern with Photoshop and SEO, but you can use it to design promotional letters and other banner designs.

 

It can be useful if you creat attractive banners or logo for increase traffic and that is a thing which useful in SEO .

Photoshop is only for photo editing. Great on websites with which show a lot of pictures of products.

 

SEO & Photoshop is different category where you heard that from.

SEO is search engine optimization and you cannot optimize website with photoshop.
