    Yes it is worth only if you have enough patience :)
    I had almost started getting my social networking sites traffic after 6 months or rigorous and hard working submission of my articles in all the networking sites. Obviously, do not use any softwares, infact do it manually. Yes it does take time, but if you have enough employees at work, just distribute the work among each one of them and it will be done faster. It is also more reliable than the various softwares we have now-a-days online.
