    Base in my 2 years experience in adsense.... the more ads you have the more chances you got click. But ofcourse more choices for the visitor to click which usually result to lower bid.

    There's also a relationship between the size of the content and the number of ads it can support.

    If a little 150 word post is jammed with ads, readers may get turned off because it looks like its all ads. A large post with the maximum Adsense real estate doesn't have that problem. A 2,000 word article can support more ads than a 250 word blurb. If you can show more ads, there's more chance that one of the offers is of interest to a reader, therefore more chance for a click.

    Of course that doesn't help you if people only read the first paragraph and leave - the verbosity has to have purpose. But "in depth" articles can create good income and can carry more chances to do that.
