    Hey everyone,

I know that many of you have probable already asked this question, but I have been trying to earn money in the past using the internet, in detail:

    - Clicking mails for 5 cents a mail (all those affiliate program sites)
Result: none has paid out, earned nothing here (2 weeks work)
I had like 9 dollar after a week or so, and it was very slow
    - Contacting google adsense => over the last few months, I have earned around 0.85 dollars.. thats nothing..

so now I found this site, and i'm doing some content writing (writing posts on forums) for 2 bucks each 20 posts..but I guess thats not very fast..

atm I have around 25 bucks on my paypal, how can I get started with earning money without the risk of losing my current 25 bucks?

You gotta spend some money to earn some money... Ex:I spent $75+ on a site that I don't plan to make profit till May or June... Because of expenses!

Unfortunately, like the previous poster said its gonna take an initial layout of capital before you can start seeing any real growth.

It seems you get paid 10cents per post. That is a standart minimum. First step would be not to work at any lower price.

Try to work faster. Remember, it's just work. There's no need to put all of your heart into it.

Try to find out what's your strenght (i.e., the topic you're (compared to others) a guru at). If you have experience in webmastering, create websites on that topic. If not, check if that topic is of any interest to other webmasters - maybe they need some articles written on it.

25$ is enough for a few baby steps in your new carrer. Maybe you should try to pick up a new skill (web design, coding, seo, domaining) - tip:don't buy ebooks - they're generaly worthless.

Earning a living off the internet is what most of the people here are interested in. Stick on these forums and read everything. Read their blogs about money making/seo.webmastering/etc. You'll soon pick up new ideas, and you'll also be able to understand your abilities.

Shameless plug: Somewhere this week I'm starting a series of blog posts on my blog. The main idea is to help people get from total newbies to webmasters whose websites can support themselves and buy a drink or two for their webmaster. The link is in my signature.

oh ok..but that shouldnt be too much of a problem because I can do some freelance jobs here on the forum right?
Technical skills isnt that much of a problem..a year ago I have read HTML and XHTML courses, CSS courses.. then I went over to programming C# and stopped just before the point I was going to learn ASP.net.. unfortunatly, I didn't have enough time to continue with all that stuff..

If you start a good website it can take months or years to get to the point of making any good income. But once it does start coming it, it can explode if you do everything correctly.

As far as freelancing goes, you should specialize in one or two things, and don't try to become an expert in everything.

its really not that simple, in making money in the internet. some poeple have to work hard for a dollar. and in my opinion making money from online (for newbies) is much more harder then ofline

It takes time, money and a lot of patience.

You need to narrow down what you want to do and outline the steps you need to take to get there. There is no magic button.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is ;)

Don't bother with pay-to-click, paid emails, paid surfing etc. The entire industry is full of scammers. That's how I started and I wasted a lot of time.

Paid posting will get you somewhere as long as you're dealing with reputable people. If you're familiar with forums and a variety of topics, you can actually make some decent money to invest in other ventures. Early on I did that to buy my first domains and hosting.

You don't necessarily need money to get started, but it can make things a lot faster if you spend it wisely. Only use the money you have as an investment, and never spend it on things you're not sure of.
