vBulletin 4.0 out now!

Got an e-mail from vBulletin today that version 4.0 is released. They also have a new web site. Some new features: article CMS, new UI, SEO friendly URLs and more.

I think I will go for the publishing suite for a new site I am planning. :)

Any others that will by it?

    Thanks for the information.

I don't know if ill buy it, probably not as it's pretty expensive, although the new features look useful.

If your going to buy it, id say buy it now as they have a "pre-sale" deal going on, and it's alot cheaper.

Yes, vBulletin finally made a CMS - the community only bitched and complained about how one was needed for the past 5 years or so :D

I'm definitely getting it - I was planning a new forum re-design, and there would be nothing better than to roll out a whole new set of features, too. If you're already a paying customer, you get a discount on it.

vBulletin 4.0 isn't out just yet, but you can pre-order it.
That home page is just an html page, it isn't using the new CMS
I don't think it looks like IP.Board at all.

    I really like the CMS.
Front end looks really nice and backend looks kind of like Joomla
I don't like the new pricing though :(

Isn't it pretty much the same, but without the recurring annual fee?

well , the upgrade is free for forum but not the publishing suite.
They must show demo before preorder link.
