Very cheap revenue per click

My site is vipchatter.com
I get about 100 people a day and something like 200+ pageviews a day.
I get about 10 clicks per day.
Why is Google paying so little per click? Like sometime it's 10 cents a click and other times I see that they pay only one cent for 5 clicks. Very cheap money. How can I improve the amounts they pay for click?? Thanks very much for your anticipated help and this forum has been a great source of helpful information.

Look at the ads in adsense. Do NOT click on ads look at urls of sites in ads. You can also get google viewer that shows ads.

Now if you go to the sites and see mostly adsense ads not much else people are useing your site to get traffic to thier adsense sites. Sometimes clickbank sites do same thing.

Just block the url in adsense account. See how much money site makes per click then. You can unblock any site any time so no big dal. When you see per click rate go up you found one site that pays very little.

 

It's all due to content for more specific ads. Why as an advertiser would you expect me to pay for celebrity ? That's got to be awfully hard to turn around into $ if I were paying a dollar a click.

There's no way people are going to pay high payouts for that.

Advertisers would probably pay high for paris hilton clothing line but celebrity I think not.
