I learned myself how to add makeup and airbrush skin in Photoshop, so i decided to try it on one of my friends.

    In this specific image, i:
    . Airbrushed skin
    . Changed hair colour
    . Changed eye colour
    . Applied lipgloss and blush

    Here is the finished result:

I'm really, really pleased with this as it was my VERY FIRST attempt at PS makeovers.

    What d'ya think? =]

Nice work. Bit too much blur on the right cheek though.

    Love the boosted redhair :)

If you can get your foot in the door at a fashion/teen/pop culture magazine, absolutely.

Or if you can find a local portrait photographer that isn't too good with Photoshop, then you could probably get some work there too. Look for the old geezers that are still putting Vaseline on their lenses :)

How much do these kind of things usually cost to get done proffessionally?

I've done similar things for print clients - I generally charge them based on what I think they can afford :)

If you're working for a big money client (like a TV station or magazine), then charge big. The person who makes the decision most likely isn't the person who'll actually pay you - it's not their money, they just want someone to do the job quickly and without fuss. If you're going to try and get some work with a local photographer, then drop your fee to the floor.

The best way to see the world is to put vaseline on my eyeballs. Then all people and photographs look great! :D :D

I would tone down how light you make the skin. Also, lower the blur a little, the faces look very blurry.

Great job with Lip Gloss and eye colour though :).

Yeah, i agree, it's not so natural looking. I was kinda inspired by the really air brushed images in fashion mags lol I'll have a go at a more natural look later. Thankyou for the feedback.

i agree on the first one that it looks pretty good, except for the right cheek where the blur really stands out

the second one seems a little too cartoony, even by fashion mag standards

I like the first one and pretty darn good for first time too! The second one, it does look a little scary.

Try not to overdo it. I can tell you have good ideas, the pictures just seem over blurred.

that is nice, but I see too much glow. and that color it's a little bit too bright... dunno.. you see, it seems to me that right shadow and the face colour is cut. that line, it's like a sharp line... those too colors should be combined from one to another. try this and i hope it would be better.

Nice Job for your first one. Have you played much with the clone tool any? Try using it to get rid of the time stamp and you will really have something to be proud of. The image is a bit high-key, but alot of people are into that now, so it looks good. The second girl looks like you just roller her out of her locker at the morgue with those lips and all the blur. What did her autopsy report say the COD was?
