Video Gaming Review site.

I want to make a site that gives video gamers a chance to review games in there own words,, Im sure its been done but I want to do this for fun. This will be a my first site, any suggestions? Is this a good or bad Idea? Where should I start at? Which hosting site should I use? Thanks

It's a good idea, but it wont be easy to get people using it at first. How will you get reviews?

 

It sounds like a good idea and a basic shared hosting solution such as HostGator should be sufficient.

 

I have thought about that yet. Im still debating if this is what kind of site I want for sure.

 

its a good idea if you offer a lot more than other game review sites, try a weekly podcast and submit it to youtube, build up a social network following and on your site you need to post a lot, get as much quality content on there as possible, keep it updating so when readers come back they get awesome fresh content and then you can make money from PPC and CPA links

 

just start with wordpress and as you progress you can work on the site.
