Crazy how power works in this world. Why is it that we seem to fund our own enemies, there is something wrong with this picture.

We send the Arabs oil money, they buy weapons to fight against us.

We send China all of our business and they are sending weapons into our enemies.

We send the Russians money and they are also sending weapons into the war zone.

Sort of funny that the US seems to be our own worst enemy.

Lever, ever since the industrial revolution, the OIL/INDUSTRIAL/MILITARY complex has made Trillions for those who control it.

This is nothing new, in fact, as I mentioned, this country was ruined, and the western world for that matter by Nixon and Kissinger back in the early 70's.

Just run a search on the "70's oil crisis" or "OPEC" and you will find all of the knowledge that you need on the subject within.

Want to read CT's, well that is where is all starts, GREED, "The love of money", did not a higher power say something about that at one time?

 

Minstrel, in this economy, who can afford to be proud, I will accept all donations for my "sanity fund".

Most of the time I would just ask folks to send "J & B Scotch" instead of cash, since I have no need to buy gas to get to the liquor store that way.

Here in BC, wind is a viable source, but I guess there's not as much money in it. That's why the provincial government here is trying to get offshore drilling going.

While we still need oil for many things, we don't need it for everything. We should diversify our energy sources.

 

And it looks ugly. Imagine all those beautiful mountain views spoiled by bl**dy windmills

Good call. And we should become more efficient in the way we use what we've got i.e. not consume quite so much as what we do. Where you going to use your qualifications when you graduate Jebby?

 

Yes, I would not mind wind power or solar power, even if it ruined the view.

It sure is better than the energy mafia building nuclear power plants to destroy the earth for a few bucks sake.

Minstrel, I have told Shawn that his voting system is flawed just like I have said that M$ OS is flawed.

Now both of these things may be true, but you know what, they have the power to change and if they will not change things around, all I can do is fight the powers that be in my own fashion.

Now you must realize that Shawn is one of the "Masters of the Universe", so it is not that easy for me to fight against him and Bill Gates and Larry and Sergey at the same time.

I must fight all of them on my terms.

Who knows what the future may bring, they may all end up working for me Minstrel.
