warning about CRAZYSHOPPER.COM.AU and CRAZYAUCTIONS.COM.AU

I wanted to warn fellow online auction users about a scam operated in Australia. There is a web page called "CRAZYSHOPPER.COM.AU" and "CRAZYAUCTIONS.COM.AU" I listed many products online, I also bid for products online. My credit card was charged for many time more than the advertised amounts I gave permission for, I have been unable to contact this unethical company and believe they are simply taking money from people. There is no contact telephone number on these auction web pages, they have no phone number listed in the phone book. After some more investigation, I think that the owner posts hundres of auctions themselves and there is no real products actually offered on these web pages at all. Be warned, it is a company in Australia that will simply steal your money and is completely uncontactable. They even called me directly and abused me and claimed they would take more money from my credit card if I complained! Just log into their web page and see the hundreds of auctions listed by "Crazy Chris" whic is the owner and no auctions have any bidders, there are NO REAL USERS on this auction page.

Call "Today Tonight", they'll pay you cash for a good story or lead. If they don't pay you what you want, say you'll go to "A Current Affair", that gets their juices flowing. Hell, if they call you again, TRY TO RECORD IT!

Most credit cards will let you dispute a charge, they will immediately return your money and then get their legal dept to deal with the offender. I know this has worked out well for some people I know. When you have a monolith like visa or mastercard's legal dept on you, you tend to shape up.

Yes, credit card holders are very much in charge of their money. If someone takes money out, you just claim it back. Easy as that. I really don't understand why people are hesitant paying online with their card.

Takes one phonecall to your issuer and all the money is back where it was.

that Tom is probably out on the white waters with Huck presently and is not keeping us informed.

It was no slight on you my good friend, afterwards I realised that it could be interpreted [not interupted] as a negative.

    Not at all ..

    Hi Everybody,

Sorry, I did not intend to be a 1 post wonder, I had other personal committments. The plot does indeed thicken. After being in trouble with the Liquor Licensing of QLD, the CRAZYSHOPPER.COM.AU has been forcefully shut down! CRAZYAUCTIONS.COM.AU appears to still be trading, it goes on and offline regularly. I am still recieiving threatening emails and phone calls from the owner there, I encourage any person who does not believe me, to just call and speak with them, they absolutely abuse you verbally on the phone even if you just want help using their system.

I have indeed just worked out how to dispute my credit card transaction with my bank,
