Wars on blogs boost traffic

Dear All

I wrote an article about a new website on my infamous blog about shit websites. The owner did read it and startet to flame me on the blog. The result was that some others blogged about that and there started the same discussion. So far that generated about 500 visits

Now I am experimenting a bit and post about it on social network sites to see if I can further boost the traffic and how far this could go. The motivation behind it is to leran how best to promote blog posts: Learning by doing so to speak. Don't get me wronh I know what online marketing is all about its actually my job, but every time i do something like that I learn something new.

I moderate a local business group on there. A good way to promote the thread and get comments I think.

That brings traffic like no other source so far. Want to digg it? The more people "digg" it the better the exposure.

Last but certainly not least: Anyone tips what else one could do? Any ideas?

Doesn't sound like much traffic. You need a celebrity to hate you and have them twit about you all day.

 

Its fine as long as they don't make your google adsense turn nonsense. Remember that there are more ways to harm than to build. Giving bad reviews will only increase dedicated hatred list.
