Was your mother "hot"?

My mom doesn't really look pretty for me but I know my dad will always look at her as the world's most beautiful woman.
They still live happily together after more than 25 years of marriage.

I've photos of my mom's mom in the 1930's and damn she was a stunner! Total move starlet stylie. Unfortunately the women in my mom's family tend to put on weight as they get older. You know how hispanic/latin women are...lots of curves, they just sort of keep getting bigger as time goes on. LOL

my mom looks young at her age of 62 (that's also what other people tell her). she's still very cool, and energetic. my dad simply adores her.

 

My grandma won beauty pageants back in the 1930s. That's all she ever talked (bragged) about. She passed away last year at the age of 91. My mom is 65 and told a lot that she is hot, but she doesn't believe it ... and neither do I hehe

yeah, my mom was hot in college, she was a nice girl, worked in the college library, going to school to be an english teacher, then she marries my rebel dad, high school dropout who smokes and drives a hotrod..heh

The topic is creepy but it reminds me of a good story. BTW, my mom has been a good looker for years...even in old age (her 80's) But to think of her as hot is wierd.

About 20 years ago I was a sales guy. My partner and I had an all day appt. with a client who was visiting our city after a tour of east coast cities. It was a terrific, beautiful warm spring day. It happened to be my mom's birthday. Had sent her a card and gift...but as usual I needed to call her.

The client was bored from his tour. While we were walking downtown trying to get the client to focus on the job at hand all the guy could talk about were women's legs, and @sses. We knew we weren't going to get anywhere with that guy that day. We cut our work tour short and brought the guy back to our office to make some quick calls. Then we took the guy to a local strip club. Might as well keep him happy. It was probably early for strip clubs...an hour -3 before most offices close.

There I was looking at strippers and thinking about my mom...and her birthday. Needless to say the two things don't jive. The guy/client was nuts. He sent me to get cigarettes, put 3 in his mouth lit them...and told my partner and I to smoke them. We drank through the afternoon and watched strippers.

I was having a rough time. Thoughts of my mom and strippers just don't go together!!!! After a couple of hours I left and finally called my mom. Boy did I feel guilty.


The next day I got to the office early and met w/my partner. The client kept him there till about 11 or 12. About 8 hours in a strip club. Way to long. When my partner left the client was still there.

The client never showed during the day. We had 3 meetings set up to do business and over the morning, afternoon, and late afernoon we had to call people with whom we were trying to do business, cancel the meetings and make up some lie.

This was before cell phones and we had no idea at what hotel the guy was staying.

Toward the end of the work day the client shows up. His dress was askew. He had a sh*t eating grin...and told us he went back to his hotel with one of the waitresses. He said it was his best visit at any city anywhere. He acknowledged he had screwed up the day but told us "Don't worry guys, we will make deals". And ultimately we did.

Regardless, strippers and my mom...on her birthday just don't go together....at least in my mind.

I would keep this story to the grave and never tell anyone that part right there.

 

I'm thinking that Andrea's story either has the making of a great love story or a really sad drama. Of course you could add a samurai and make it an action story.

 

Add a chainsaw, seven Vestal virgins, beer, castles with beer wenches, and thrilling battle scenes with wizards and a great clanking of swords and axes and lo... it's an epic.
