Website tutorials...

Hello DP Dudes,

I want to create a Clean and Superb website... I need some tutorial for that....
If you know any sites that is good for website tutorials... Please post the links here... So that it will be more helpful for me......

 

What will you be using? html & css? designing in photoshop first? using dreamweaver?

 

I usually look at online design magazines that discuss types of designs (look at fonts, colours) and have design tutorials so you can make some cool buttons or logos for your site. I suggest you play around with some designs until your sure how you want your site to look. Check out the following sites (i find them useful) for some inspiration

For a basic understanding of CSS use http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp but to get a deeper understanding and explanations, tips, tutorials etc try http://css-tricks.com/

For photoshop try http://psd.tutsplus.com/ and http://pshero.com/ theres so much more out there, but to get you started at least.

For allsorts of info, tutorials etc try http://net.tutsplus.com/ and http://www.smashingmagazine.com/

Not free, and more targeted to design principles than how-tos tutorials, but if you'r aiming for "Clean and Superb", then have a look at Before&After magazine: http://www.bamagazine.com/ .

On peachpit.com, there are two free long extracts from books by John McWade of Before&After. The one on logo design is a must.

 

Their are some good tutorials at hv-designs.co.uk so have a look

i would suggest you better go for Content Management Tools like wordpress or Joomla, these tools will really help you to startup a new website with a good framework. You can visit their official websites for any help.

 

just search in google. i too tried and got it . use torrents to download books like this
