Weed: yes or no?

I never tried smoking weed and never will. My friend almost got killed because of those, he was so high he drove againts a one way highway

 

No, stupidity almost got your friend killed. Weed actually makes you think, and analyze a situation more which is why you get paranoid unlike drinking which makes you think your superman. So it wasnt the weed that caused the problem, it was your friend who was stupid enough to drive when he couldnt handle his weed and decided to give driving a shot anyway.

Weed... ah, used to be a big time smoker... all day every day for years and, yeah, it does make ya lazy if you let it, yes with tobacco it's not so good for your lungs. Like all things, in moderation is the way to go.

Now, if you're an artist or a musician a little weed can really help you get creative, getting stuck into a tune or or a drawing absorbs you and you can get really productive.

But i'll neither promote nor criticise it... after all I've seen far more people f*cked up on speed, e, acid, heroin, methadone, prescription drugs etc etc ad infinitum... plus there's the socially acceptable drug called alcohol which most Brits can't seem to handle, especially that cheap chemical concoction aka Lager.

I dont think so! Sorry but smoking weed has a differnt effect on every person just like being drunk. Some drunk person become emotional and some become in rage or something else.

Smoking to much weed does not make you think, it make you do some stupid things withput thinking (amotivational syndrome).

 

I moved back to santa cruz my senior year in high school, I had never smoked weed and then I saw hundreds of people who gave me reason to never ever ever try it. It was like a "stupid stick", stick this in your mouth and get stupid.

One of my best friends down there was addicted and drove me nuts whenever he was stoned. It was if you was using 1/10th of the brain he normally used.

My wife tried it along with many other things as a teen and she agrees that it was all stupid. I liked the alcohol, but I agree that is one of the worst and most damaging.

 

have once, and i didnt see the point in it, waste of time and money and smoking is just pointless anyway, alcohol i smuch better

 

They are probably the only ones who really know what the effect is....

I smoke it now and then, its nice to chill with, a sociable drug if yopur with the right people. As with all drugs has bad sides but i have yet to find any bad sides myself

I use to smoke weed a lot when I was in high school, but I haven't smoked any in years.

Not only the meaning has nothing to do with "it make you do some stupid things withput thinking" but it refers to when people smoke alot which makes them unmotivated to do other social activities, how did you assume it means 'going crazy' (it even says its debatable, which isnt even the point)

Weed does have different effects on people, however it is never like drinking. Who ever actually smoked weed before probably smoked it with many many random people and seen how the effects are on them. I can tell you it doesnt make you go crazy in a sense that you dont realize what your doing. Thats a load of crap and propaganda to stop kids from smoking. Also 'smoking too much weed' as you refer to it as obviously you never tried it so you assume stuff you read in a book, doesnt make you do stupid things as it rather makes you not able to do much other then sit on the couch and think about stuff or barly talk to people cuz it hit you really hard, you surely would be trying to kill yourself if you tried driving as you know its an obvious hazard because you have a hard time seeing, and your reaction is slower because your mind is working differently. Also when I said weed makes you think more, I meant it in a different sense then conventional 'thinking' weed actually makes you analyze more as your train of thought if different then when your sober. Hard to explain this kind of stuff but I am trying to atleast provide you with my point of view because I believe first hand exprience is better then a book or second-hand word exchange.

 

Yes. But I very rarely smoke it. I don't like the taste much or the way it makes me act.

I got stoned the other night but I was forced to . I seem to have a sort of routine when I get stoned which never changes.

1) Smoke
2) Laugh A LOT
3) get the munchies
4) Laugh A LOT
5) Deep deep sleep.

I went to McDonalds and I was trying to order, but I couldn't stop laughing. The guy must have thought I was Nuts, it took me 5 minutes to get the word hello out and then I laughed for like 15 minutes. I made such a huge queue of people behind me. In the end I just pointed at the menu and ended up with a fish burger which I hate but I couldnt say anything coz I couldn't stop laughing. .. This was in Amsterdam though so they are used to crazy English idiots walking around f*cked.

I prefer getting drunk though.

I once read a guy on a forum write something to the effect of:
If I where locked in a room full of drunks, I'd be scared of losing my life, however if I where locked in a room full of stoners, I'd might be scared of losing my cookies.

I think that says much, I have never experienced anyone who got violent by doing weed or hashish alone, but I've seen a lot of mean drunks.
