    Hi guys,

I would like to kindly ask some AdSense experts to take a look at my site http://www.cyndilaupersite.com and tell me whether or not the ad placement is fine.

I did a lot of changes and so far none of them gave me good results. At the moment i get between 80 to 100 uniques a day and less than 3 clicks. Lately some days gets 0 clicks.

My main concern is whether is an ad placement problem or just the kind of site and style that really doesn't generate any revenue. In reality the site was build by me as a fan site, but would be nice if at least my earns could pay off the hosting fees.

    Please I need some advice...

    Thanks all!!

Consider put the skyscraper at the left in this page: http://www.cyndilaupersite.com/cl-en-articles.html

Most people will tend to click menu on the left position, rather than right position.

I think that part of the problem comes from the fact that the ads that are shown don't have enough appeal to fans of Cyndi Lauper. The subject of your site doesn't attract enough interesting ads for your visitors. They want to know specifically about Cyndi and only a few ads concern her and are inviting enough to click on.

As to the position of your ads: the best positions to place them are usually left above and above. The ones that you have above now might look a bit too much like advertising because of their position quite apart from the content. They might do beter if you place them directly above the content.

But all in all, I think the subject of your site is 'the main problem'. However good your info on Cyndi.
Hope this helps! Btw, the site does look professional!

For your first ad (468 x 60 ad) try to change the image to the left of it for all of the pages so that it's not the same all the time while people are surfing your site (so they won't ignore it)

I think you need to try more 160x600's on the left side. Also, you don't have any ads on your index page..isn't that the most viewed page on your site? Too bad it's not 1986, you'd be rolling in dough!
