What am i doing?

Hey i got adsense on my website http://www.ugplay.com but am not makeing to much revenue from it what am i doing wrong?

 

There are sooo many good threads here about adsense, go and browse.

Your placement is out of the way, wider blocks tend to perform well,
Border/background colours should be the same as your web background to blend in better.
You only have one block on the left when you can integrate/blend up to 3

 

use a 336x280 in th center column, look and find link units or ADLINK in adsense and use that on top of your vertical banner on the left. Change the colors to make ti blend in your page, especially the background and border colors.

Get rid of the damn popups!
I hate sites with popups!
That could drive away good traffic having to deal with all those popups!

 

Maybe re-design your site for something newer looking and also to give you better ad placement?

 

The pop ups and animated banner put me off. I did not even have time to see the Adsense before deciding to leave the site altogther.

 

My advice is to blend the ads with the content. Also get rid of those annoying pop ups.

How much traffic do you have? You can do a bit of optimizations to increase the CTR(checkout the heat map) but ultimately you nee dtraffic to make money!

 

Forgot to mention, you need to optimize your images. Your site is too heavy(checkout the total images size!!), annoying(popups, useless spyware ads, too many ads), ameaturinsh (bad css, color scheme). Scope for lots of improvement!

 

Man, I was going to visit your site but as soonas someone mentioned popups I halted the truck!

I hate popups! Except for when DP lets me know about a PM. That's OK coz I have control over that!!
