    The competition column in the google keyword tool (which is going away) defines the amount of advertisers buying ads for the KEYWORD. If your looking for a keyword to use on an adsense site, you want HIGH competition from the google keyword tool!

    The low competition YOUR looking for would be the number of webmaster actually building sites around the keyword. If you can find a keyword with LOTs of searches but few websites that match the keyword then yes, its easy to rank a site for that keyword. On top of that if you can find a site that matches the above criteria and also has a high competition in the google keyword tool then you have a winner! :)

    The formula to use would be;
    KEYWORD with low competition (few websites that match KW)
    KEYWORD with high searches (Lots of folks searching for KW)
    KEYWORD with high competition in Google Adwords (lots of folks buying ads for KW)
    KEYWORD is a winner!

    foolish question! if you want your site to stay for sometime than you need to wait for your site to get rank in google on a better and stronger place.Domain age also helps you in ranking.So please be patient in SEO.

    Well, not exactly - with low competition and if you know what you are doing it's still possible to rank at least on first page, if not nº 1 within a day or two.

    Google Always show mostly top 10 website on page first. Find your Keyword with Google Adwords Planner & Semrush
    There is always a website in top 10 which don't have the exact keyword.
    create a high quality content with 1.25-1.75% keyword density and submit it fir indexing.
