    Filters have ready made effects by which you can give stunning looks to your image. You do not need to be an artist for this. They are really simple to use.

    Best way to learn is to use them and see the effects they give you. Just open up a picture into Photoshop and try out different filters on it to see what they do!

    Like others have said, use the filter gallery to preview filters. They're amazing. It's not just for effects, either; I like using stylize -> diffuse -> anisotrophic to smooth out lineart.

    I love the filters, my favorites are add noise and pixelize, and a cool web 2.0 look.look up a few tutorials, they're very much worth it!

    Filter is most significant element of photoshop. we can change the shades and can use the different kind of special effects for finishing which makes the images too much attractive and prominent.

    If your question is filter, I use Smart Blur often. If the other in menu bar, I always use Level. :)

    filter effect most impotent and use full tab in photoshop. its have lot of effects example. if you want any style in photoshop , sure to visualize.....
