    Hi all,
Its been a while since the last browser poll and I think as we go into a new month it would be good to track Firefox's progress!

I use IE on occastion to check web pages on my internal network, but never use a Microsoft product on the internet.

All internet activity is done with Linux using Firefox, Mozilla, Konquorer, Opera, and epiphany in that order of preferance.

    Mozilla all the time!
Believe it or not, I have actually set up my firewall in Windows to block outgoing connections from IE - that's how much I hate it!

I actually had some problems at first with Firefox, but with the extensions it is 10 times better than IE, it also remembers my password, and saves me so much time when I do work!

When do you reckon Firefox will take over IE. I reckon about 2-3 years time. Although, its moving so fast it could happen at any moment!

I dont think IE will just sit and watch itself be taken over. I think it will be a long time before IE is properly taken over

Hopefully it will be a wake-up call to IE, and things might get more interesting. A new IE 7 would be nice! Will the Firefox revolution end and be replaced by a new model or will it be the next big thing?

IE has been slowing losing popularity as people have been realising more and more that IE isn't just the only search engine. I think that eventually the decline will level out. Perhaps at around 50 - 55% That's just my guess though. I'd sell now if I were you :)

I'm using Netscape at present and probably will continue to do so for quite sometime, I've been using it since the year dot, my earliest memories was back in Win 3.1 using Winsock trumpet to dial-up, geez those were the days.

I then moved to internet exploder as it came with windows until I realised I missed the tab system a lot so went back.

I was using Firefox for a very short time to see what everyone was ravin on about but was having troubles loading some web pages, sure it's very light on in terms of the download but loading some pages not displaying was enough to head back to trusty old Netscape.

To see what I mean load here in Firefox / Mozilla etc and then load it in Netscape or IE. This is just one example that I can think of at the spur of a moment, what else do you expect, it's closed to 5:00am over here ;)

    Now that's awesome :D

bLaDeY - I see your issue. However I'm wondering if that's rendering badly due to bad code or not. Safari renders it like Firefox also. If pages look bad in Firefox it's usually bad code. Firefox goes by the standards much more strictly than IE. It's just an idea.
