I run one and am trying to make it bigger and better.

So what do you see in either Gazotto or gadget blogs in general that you think really need to be there?

Being able to buy the blogged gadget in your own locality (US vs UK vs other big markets). Being able to somehow win the gadget. Rating them could be fun too. If there were reviews it would be nice too (there's a yahoo API t pull reviews so you don;t have to collect them).

Maybe you can do a joint venture with Coolest Gadgets???

Originality, finding things to write about before all the other gadget sites is difficult. In depth reviews are good but time consuming and expensive. I like the idea of where to buy and reviews might have to look into that.

If you have any ideas for joint ventures I'm always open to suggestion :).

Interesting. I got a few contest ideas, where you can win some cool stuff, but I need to start making some calls first.

Can you tell me more about the yahoo API. (I'm new to the API stuff) How does it work?

That's a solid idea. It would take some sizable financing, or deal-making with various manufacturers (in exchange for promoting the product, they give you a sample to give away to a visitor).

Yes, that's why I'm trying to get a little bit more reputable. I don't want to jump into this and have people say, "Who the hell is this guy anyway?".

So what you are suggesting is that every gadget I talk about would be given away. That would take a bit more work.
