What do you call a good traffic?

I'm curios and just want to know, how much traffic is considered as a good traffic.
What if the same users are addicted to the site and visit daily do you consider that as a bonus or waste of traffic?
can any one put some light on the above ?'s please!

 

BONUS OFCOURSE! it all depends what you want your traffic to do, do you want them to buy, click ad's, play games, submit info?

 

I think increment in unique visitors is better than having addicted users on the same site.

 

I think this is very much dependant on the type of site you run. If you have a highly targeted niche site then 50 visitors per day may well be enough to profit from adsense, amazon, direct sales, etc. A more general site may require 2000 visitors per day to generate the same earnings.

Also, I'm sure that most would agree that they are never satisfied and that a good level of traffic is always significantly more than the amount they are currently receiving!

 

I believe good traffic would be the ones bringing in the goods.

but sometimes any traffic could bring in unexpected good fortune..

 

Yes Why asked this question was that I get around 50,000 Unique visitors / month on one of my entertainment site, with added addicted same revisiting users it goes up alot. where as my other site's which recieve very less traffic compair to this one and still make good prodfit than the entertainment site!

 

If your trying to build a community and not interested in commercial ventures, then returning visitors is very important.

I was thinking of Google Domain parking which is sort of half adsense premium account I guess.
To apply for such account you need to get atleast 750,000 page views from your network of sites, well just from one site I get more page views then that. Here is the exact number of that site for the month of july 2673969, I got this from awstats! So Can I procede with this and apply for domain parking adsense or just send one email to adsense support and ask them about this?

 

Very cool, but my page views are not there yet.

 

Obviously the more traffic you can generate the better, but even more important is the quality of the traffic and conversions.

 

For me, 1000 unique per month is decent start traffic

 

I actually applied for domainpark, no reply yet from that adsense team!
Yeh in one of my site I get 2000 Page impressions of google and CTR is like 15%, and in other site where page Impressions are like 8000 and CTR is 1.0% So much difference...

 

Yes, it's all about return traffic. Traffic that keeps coming back fuels improvement for the future

 

i've always believed that the more the better, but then again.. the more important thing is the conversions it makes..

 

Not to mention sites that are getting 100k visitors per day ... If at least one of my sites would get 10k/day, i would be pretty happy i think

 

I'm pretty happy if my two major sites, which consist of a blog and a niche-targeted RPG website with daily content, get 30 unique hits in a day.

But then, I'm not in it for the money. Yet.

 

My site is currently getting 1,000 uniques/day, I would say x 10 and that's decent traffic

 

it really depends on the site you are running.. but generally, i think the more the better.. and it's not really the traffic anyway, it's the conversion that matters..
