What do you do about nausea/car sickness?

In about 3 days, we're going to a local theme park for an excursion, but the problem is that we're travelling by bus. I'm the type that always gets car sick and as much as I hate to whine and complain about it, would any of you guys have any recommendations on what medicine (brand name if necessary) I should take to prevent nausea and car sickness? If not, and if you also get car sick, what do you do to make the feeling go away?

I might go on some rides so I'll probably also get sick on the way back as we are travelling by bus on the way back aswell.

Would appreciate any and all help! :)

Have you tried going asleep so you don't get sick?

Nope :D I think that makes it worse. After a long sleep, you wake up and you start to feel dizzy and the nausea just gets to the point where you just have to let it out.

Oh poor you. I'd hate to get travel sick since travelling is my favorite thing to do.

Have you tried those travel sickness wrist bands? Apparently they really work for my friend.
