What do you do with comments?

I have a website with some visitors

I get around 10-15 comments daily asking questions. What should I do? Should I answer them, email them or leave it as it takes about 1 hour replying to all these questions.

Plz help...what you do?

 

you must answer them if some one ask you, keep ur visitors with you otherwise they wont return

Well, it is always good to show that you have interest in your community. You don't need to answer to every question, just pick a few that you like to answer. When you answer to them, they are more likely to come back.

 

You should do some screening of the comments as some might not be relevant to your topics.

Are those comments relates to your topics?

If yes, then you should put your best effort to reply to those who are asking for decent info, after all, their will become your long term subscribers and eventually they will listen to your suggestion.

 

If you can, definitely answer the comments. The time it takes to answer them will be rewarded by repeat visitors. People will feel like you care about them, meaning they'll care about what you have to say. Like Kenbiz said, make sure the comments are related to the topic of your blog, and if so, answer their questions.

You might even try using the questions as fodder for new posts. That way, you get some ideas for topics to write about, and the commenters feel special because their comment inspired a whole new post. You could do Q&A posts, or simply cite the commenter that gave you the idea and answer the question more fully than you would in a comment reply.

I wouldn't bother answering comments through email, though. The main point of answering blog comments is to make readers feel important, but it also shows new readers that you listen and interact. If you simply reply by email, you don't gain this benefit.

 

It's a great thing that you're actually getting questions, you should definitely interact with your visitors and answer them, not all of them, but the relevant ones.

why not, more you reply more, people come to your site, if you give them good replies.

 

If you area backing up for an hour of working....then you have chose the wrong line of work.

 

Comments is most important part of quires. So you can update on that.

 

Answer them unless they are appear to be spammers.
