    Recently launched this free website http://www.adspace-auctions.com
    Since it is totally free, I plan on making money from adsense revenue.
    It is important for me that my adsense ads are well placed to generate the most clicks but I also don't want the ads to be obnoxious and irritate the users.

    I decided to use the larger adsense ads and place them on the left or right side, or on the footer so that they do not obstruct the content of the site. You can see for yourself at http://www.adspace-auctions.com/categories.php?parent=1311&show=subcats

    What do you think about my ad placements? Can I place them in better spots without obstructing the content?

    I think both placements are fine ablaye.

    They wouldn't bother me at all if I was a regular user because the colours merge nicely with the site.

    the bottom ads under the content is good, but the left and right sided don't capture the visitors eyes, maybe you should try placing some link units at the top of the page.
