What do you think about this website name ?

I am developing a very simple blogging platform. (Very simple one, yet it has some cool features). I am planning to host this website as soon as possible.

And I thought of a name. Astic. Just a random word that came to my mind that goes with "post". What do you think ?

Cool ? Awesome ? Terrible ? If not cool, then some suggestions ?

 

It's catchy, but not necessarily cool. A sounds like it should be a chemical element of some sort. But it doesn't mean the name won't work.

 

I think so too, what about Fostic ?

Selecting random names for a site not always help (may be in some cases luckily)
if you want to choose a right name for your blog or site, its depend on what are your contents,
Example. if a blog is related to cooking recipe . the name can be
cooking-recipe
astic best recipes
Astic recipe
(above was just example for relation of domain name and contents)

Sounds like an interesting name, but it depends what you are gonna do with it.

 

Ass stick? I like unique, brandable names but you might keep searching.

I like the sound of it but the common person may think it isn't cliche/click worthy enough

 

I like the name and for me it doesn't really reek of anything familiar right off the bat. Although, Ass Stick as fervid said might be one to think about. Especially if someone finds a particular piece of the software troublesome, they might want to quit using that damn Ass Stick HAR.

I like to visit http://www.domainhole.com and look for short expired domains there when I'm brainstorming names - just a suggestion.

 

Astic sounds better than Fostic to me
