If he is doing so great SE, why are folks leaving him, Moderators and members?

You have to grow to stay in business and he is losing market share

So what are you saying beside whatever SE, do you think he will be able to compete with Jupiter media or not?

Personally, I think that as long as there are good, revealing, informative threads still being produced over at WMW, then he will do just fine.

    SEW is something else.
I read over there quite a bit - Haven't really had the balls to post a lot yet. There is some good stuff going on over there, with some fuc*ing good guys too.
I'm not anyone. How should I know who will win long term.
    GO DP!

Best thing he could do would be to sell it, but it may be to late for that.

Who in the hell wants a webmaster forum? Webmaster forums are like kitty cats, everyone has one.

Digital Point is a better portal than WMW anyday of the week with tools that are unmatched, who needs WMW anyway?

I will not comment on the why's or wherefors, but suffice to say that these things happen. The web is cyclic, always will be. Look at Altavista case in point.

Sometimes people decide to make changes, they base these changes on assumptions, and as we all know assuming is dangerous in business. People will fight to the death for a cause, they will follow a leader who is fighting for a cause. But will they follow a leader who is getting paid to fight for a cause?

The only cause they are fighting for is to censor content for certain companies and charge members to contribute fluffy crap to compliment those clients.

Why would I pay to shine up someone's public relations and be censored when my comments do not suit management's idea of proper propaganda?

"We must do what is good for the forum", screw the members!!!!

It looks like someone is being paid off to sell out the union to me.

Its simple - they used to be 'IT' and could get away with the BS.

Too many boards now deal with the same topic - Like this one.

They have no competitive edge. So their arrogance is now an annoyance and people are tired of it. They are probably losing mods because the mods recognize this and feel like they can do nothing to fix things. Frustration and not wanting to go down with a sinking ship.

They have nothing on Digital Point and they sure will not be able to compete with the Jupiter Show if that is the direction they are going.
