    First off, I know the top navi buttons lead to 404's. I just wanted a review of this ad placement/layout.

    I would say it is alright for me. But why not put the the large one at the top. It's fine. Give it some time.

    Yeah I wasn't sure about that one so I went ahead and emailed Google. Will change it though, thanks for the headsup. Any suggestions on what to write there/what I could put there instead?

    I don't think you are allowed to put ANYTHING above them except Advertisement or Sponsored Links i think. However, you ARE allowed to put images I *believe* which can make or break CTR. Just try to blend them in but DON'T be deceptive with titles. Good luck :)
