What do you think of my new logo?

I recently just made a new logo for my site, Slyvisions.com. Check it out and let me know what you think?

 

Good one. Simple, nice and easy to be remembered.

 

I'd say its a bit too dark, the blue does not match the blue used in the rest of the blog so i'd go with something lighter like the blue used for "get reviewed by this blog for...". I'd make the grey border white and thicker and the outer black/grey border lighter and slightly thinner

 

The blue color I use is exactly like the same hex color I use for the rest of the theme. About the border and the stroke, I'll try to fix that according to your tips. Thanks.

 

I think its a bit too small.. it took me a while to notice it.

Fixed the color problem. Now I just need to figure out the best color for the slogan under the logo. What would be a good one?

 

Scale the logo up a little bit and sharpen it, it looks a little fuzzy right now.

I think your logo is great as it is and dont see anything else that could be changed.

Thanks guys. Anyway, does anybody want to make one for me? I also want to see what others can do, and I'll pay the designer that makes the best logo.

 

Looks great. Just a couple of comments, and you don't need to change it, but just something I thought would be cool.

1) Not very Web 2.0 like, Most blogs are trying to get the web 2.0 feel, so you should try that. Especially for a tech blog.

2) The V on visions, and the is aren't very readable. Try another font, because its actually pretty mashed together.

Another web 2.0 aspect you can add is to add like a little reflection thing at the bottom.

 

I don't think it would work for my site. By the way, what do you use for your own designing? Photoshop or Illustrator?

 

I think it's nice and clean enough..but I can make it more glossy..

I honestly think the inner glow effect makes the font a bit hard to read.. maybe some sleek glossy web 2.0 style effect instead. Portraying "sly" into the logo would be ideal
