What does everyone think about long sales letters?

    I am new here, just joined.

    One thing that has bothered me, and wanted to know what others think is the long drawn out sales letter? I know it is supposed to contain psychological triggers to force people to buy... hmmm... I personally hate them and if I see one, I am most certainly not going to buy. Does that make me not normal? I am the same way about the long sales video. I think to myself "do I have to" I had rather chew off my right arm than to listen to all the crap. I am also talking about well know marketers on the internet as well. I am even huge fans, just can't stand the long drawn out stuff. I don't have time to listen to it or read it.

    Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
