What exactly does Google mean by "Visible Border" for ads and images?

    Hi guys,

    I planned to put an image next to my ads in my homepage www.squarehippies.com but I'm not sure how exactly Google meant by "visible border" between the two. Is it our border by html or our graphic border or using their color code to create visible border around the ads? I included some shots for you guys to review, I hope it's not too much to scroll down. Please advise :)

    and yet, why do I see several sites implementing images without borders and are really close to the ads.

    With "Border" Google means using their color code to create visible border around the ads.

    As, ebrawl saids... it works... I like the way you put them into your blog.

    Thanks CualQuiera. One thing, I didn't specify any color codes for the ad displayed next to the image to make it borderless. I only put a CSS border around my image. Will this violate the TOS?

    the image has a border around it and from what i hear google just wants the images or ads to have a border or line around them. so i would think all those ways you have posted are fine.

    This is usually a gray area using images next to ads since there are differnt ways to assume border or no border.
