What is a Word Cloud ?

I must be getting very outdated here. What is a 'Word Cloud' and what is this thing about 'Tagging' associated with 'World Cloud' or 'Cloud Sites' ?

All these new terms are making my head spin.

Okie Thanks guys Ah okay so they are basically non-content sites but just basically selling links and key words and nothing more. This is sort of like use for the sake of increasing your own page rank by association.

 

its to raise the pagerank of other sites, if it has like a 1000 links, its not too good since its passing PR to so many sites at the same time.

 

People don't care about that,they just pick up an expired domain and set up a word cloud site,they just want to earn some quick cash.

 

Ah. Well, I guess I am different from others. I want what I host to mean something to someone.

You can hardly find a cloud site that is useful, too.

 

So what do you think the use of this word cloud site? I found them useless IMO.

 

Never liked them myself. Never stopped by for more than a few seconds on any cloud site.
And I don't think they are meant to keep visitors on anyway. It's the PR game, not more that I see.

 

Most of the word clouds sites are set up on expired domains, but because the cost is low, people really do not mind buying links from there- you can get PR 5's for a dollar or two
