    Hello all,

I've been searching around for what exactly an Insertion Order is, and how I can submit one?

    Anyone?

What did you find the term, I never heard of it before.

Do you mean keyword insertion? This is where your keywords are inserted in your ads. So if you had your ad set up as
    Buy {Keyword} now

Then if the search came from TomTom X1, then your ad would display
    Buy TomTom X1 now

Ebay used this alot, with some strange results.

I found it in YSM's search Marketing tos. Basically it says they can change your keywords, ads, and even how much your maxcpc is unless you have an "Insertion Order."

So, since I would prefer Yahoo to not muck around with my account that way, I'm trying to find out about the process of creating an Insertion Order, and sending to Yahoo.

From what I've gathered so far...it is basically a form you fill out. The part I haven't figured is how to go about getting it to Yahoo such that they follow it. I mean i could just fill out the form and mail to Yahoo, but who knows if they'll follow (or respond) to it. So, I'm checking if anyone has anymore info on it.

Ah right did not know that. I thought setting the Campaign Optimisation option to off, would be enough for them to stop messing around with your campaigns.
