What is at least one weird thing that makes you laugh?

For whatever reason, I am tickled when certain people I know get mad, especially people I'm attracted to. As weird as it may sound, I find it entertaining -- but again, only with certain people (not everyone).

What is at least one thing that makes you laugh?

What makes me laugh is how two faced some people can be. We've all seen them, they ooze charm and affability when the other person is standing there in front of them. They laugh at their jokes and agree willingly with everything they say.
Then as soon as that person leaves they cut them to pieces and their expression goes from jovial to pure malice. I just laugh when it happens, and then they look at me with a puzzled expression on their hypocritical faces.

You know everyday there are people in the world starves, so when I hear problems from who are considered wealthy, (or at least doing alot better then myself, and alot better then most of everyone else), I just cant help but laugh.

Like a guy saying complaining about the price of fuel for his ferrari, or someone complaining about how they didnt get a payrise, and how they are going to struggle with their $150k+ salaries, it just makes me laugh and think "Oh the humanity".

My son always makes me laugh as well, but he is just so awesome.

Stewie Griffin, the little weird toddler from the Family Guy, makes me laugh. Some of his quips are just hilarious:

Mother, I come bearing a gift. I'll give you a hint: it's in my diaper and it's not a toaster.

Some find this type of humor offensive. Not sure why.

The Humor section on Pinterest...I always find myself cracking up to myself and then I laugh harder when I look at my family sitting around me wondering what's wrong with me!

i know that sarcasm is the lowest form of humor but ma when it is done right there is nothing low about it. I love when people play on words and of course those beautiful times when you catch a person having one of those "thought that no one was looking" moments.

There were two comedians over the years, who could crack me up simply with their facial expressions: Jackie Gleason and John Belushi. They did not have to say anything when they would offer one of their classic facial expressions in reaction to whatever the comedic situation was (think of Gleason's expressions on the Honeymooners or Belushi's expressions as the Samurai guy on Saturday Night Live.) I am smiling right now just thinking about them.

@Chaye : I never looked at the humor section on Pinterest. Perhaps I should check it out. I always went to Pinterest for things related to the arts.

@jrbiz : Don't know those comedians, but I can see how people's facial expressions can be funny, too, in any situation. Like you may not find this funny because it's really the facial express that was funny.

nothing makes me really LOL lately. I love to go out with friends, storytelling evenings, film watching and so on. This makes me smile. But nothing deserves a LOL. The world has too many problems to LOL.

@Jake The Competition Man : Awww...you don't sound too happy. You know, the world has a lot of problems and has had many problems since its existence. Problems in themselves will never all go away. Problems will always exist as long as bad exists. But laughter has nothing to do with the world's problems. :) They are each their own. If you can smile about something even knowing the world has too many problems, then surely one day something will get a LOL out of you. ;-) Fingers crossed.

When people complain. You didn't get the newest iPhone? Too bad. Wanted the red Honda, not the blue? Shame. But want to know what would make it somewhat better? Take into account there's people out there that would kill for a car, or a phone, or food, or shelter. I'm not forcing you to feel pity, but please be more grateful for what you have and more respectable to others.

Yeah, I know, I was not complaining :D it was ironic. I like to create discussion on interesting ideas but I forgot to tell you. I'm telling now.

What makes me smile: right now I'm thinking about all the wondeful things that usually we consider "small things". As example a coffee or a meal you love. Or just watching your preferred tv series. Such things can make you feel great, but I think it's because you feel it this way yourself and anything is great.

A colleague of mine makes me laugh often. It's usually times when he starts telling how different little things irritate him, and he gets so carried away that he starts looking funny; and when he finally notices the amusement on my face, we start laughing together.
Moments like this help our team to get a bit distracted from work and just enjoy communication :)

I'm a big fan of zingers, those insults that just leave your jaw on the floor. The classics are often the best for this, with masters of the craft like W.C. Fields, Harvey Corman, Foghorn Leghorn and so forth. Some people say insults shouldn't be funny; much like our blessed St. George of the church of Pesci, (Yes, those of us who worship Joe made Carlin the first St. of the order upon his death) all I can say is BULLSHIT!

    Lady: Well I never!
    Fields: Well there's your problem.

In the old days there was an... art to conversation that sadly seems lacking. Take one of the funniest things I've ever read, taken from a correspondence between George Bernard Shaw and Winston Churchill:

Shaw wrote: "I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend ... if you have one."

Churchill wired back: "Impossible to come to first night. Will come to second night, if you have one."

    --

Or even just simple one-liners like Groucho's famous "I've been around so long I knew Doris Day before she was a virgin."

In terms of modern comedy, there are a few who can still deliver on this; Ralphie Mays and Carlos Mencia for example; though a great example is Nicole Sullivan as "Cathy, the Vancome lady" from Mad TV

Even so, there are few true "masters of sardonic wit" anymore; people have become such mealy-mouthed thin skinned wussies parotting "if you can't say anything nice" I'm a little shocked anyone is able to accomplish even the simplest of tasks. It's like everyone wants to have the rose coloured glasses slapped on their head, to be led down the garden path to failure so they can sing Kumbaya around a drum circle. To hell with that and to hell with that type of soft, limp, "status quo FTMFW" thinking.

A close second would be how I also like when actors or actresses take on roles you'd NEVER picture them doing; in comedy that's most always brilliant.

Take Don Knotts as a pornographer as an example.

One of the funniest movies ever made. The idea of casting Don Knotts as a Larry Flynt or Hugh Hefner is so absurd...

My sense of humor also runs to the dark side -- I still say "American Horror Story" is one of the greatest TV comedies ever.
