what is better blogger or wordpress?

    up until now i was building static sites, but no i try to focus more on web 2.0 platform becasue i can get instat traffic that way.

    so........from some reason blogger is more easy and running fast, but wordpress has lots of plugins and csutomisation.

    what is your favorite? and what do you recommand?

    Self-hosted Wordpress is the best platform for blogging, because of its versatile features, hundreds of dedicated designers/developers, themes and plugins. On the other hand, Blogger.com is owned by Google, it's free, fast and secure but offers less features.

    I would have to go with Wordpress also, think about the exit strategy, I suppose you can sell a blogger site, but when you se a blog for sale it's always a Wordpress blog.
    Plus your options are countless.

    Blogger is better, If your looking for free hosting!

    Everyone will tell you that you could always sell a Wordpress site later on, but you can't sell a Blogger blog (that is true).

    I think of it like this!

    If you have a free blog on Blogger, & say it makes any amount of money (Adsense, etc...) over $0.01, then you would never want to sell that blog, it's only free money.

    If you get bored with the blog say a year from now, it's still free money, you don't have to do anything, no hosting fee etc... If your next blog post was 10 years from now, & someone clicks your Adsense, it's still free money!

    That's just me...

    If you are looking for free hosting, I would say Blogger. There was an blog post by the commission blueprint guys where they did some testing to see which web2.0 property was best for SEO. It turns out it was blogger.
