What is the best adsense placement for blogs? Help please.

Hey all,

I run a couple of blogs and included adsense to earn a small revenue stream as a reward, but my revenue jumps around $10 dollars one day then nothing for weeks while my traffic if anything is rising over the weeks, slowly but, rising. I use both link units, ad units and search. I was wondering whether the placement of my ads is the problem. I have two blogs with one more in the pipeline so could potentially experiment with different placements. Any suggestions? the blogs are http://beat-the-bank.blogspot.com and http://the-undercover-centrist.blogspot.com

Really i just want some consistency in the revenue, assuming that growing focusing on growing traffic will grow revenue volume.

IF i was you i would put ads between to 2nd og 3rd post. and on the bottom of every post, that have worked for me.

 

thanks. run ads currently between posts and link units above/in sidebar. was thinking of adding extra ad unit in for when a specific post is viewed but this would mean that home page would have too many ad units isn't this agains adsense tos?

 

I always use 160x600, 336, 468x60 and one link unit.

You should place 1 wide skyscraper in the sidebar of your blog.
