What is the best CMS to have a shopping cart type website

    I want to have a website easily manageable that will display products much like a shopping cart but without shopping cart and checkout.

    It will be use to dispaly items of the same type but with different characteristics.

    Same baisc characteristics for all items, plus a picture.

    Anyhow, any suggections is appreciated.

    Virtuemart (which is a shopping cart module for Joomla) provides the option to run as a catalog. That should do essentially what you need...
