What is the best hour of the day to submit to digg?

What do you think is the best time of the day to submit an article to digg.com to get the most diggs???

Like 12:30, it'll pickup some Diggs until about 2:45 and that is when lots of people start to log on to Digg.

 

Yeah you want to be in there before 2. I've noticed that when the big companies put their diggs in - they immediately generate a couple hundred diggs. It'll be tougher to compete with them. What category are you posting to? It might be a nichey spot - so it IS possible that high-tide will be good for you. Research.

I guess around 12:00 NOON would be great to post any article, news or classified ad on the Internet. Besides, it has been proven that Tuesday is the best and most effective day of a week.

i never thought that there is a certain time for you to pass your entries on digg

 

Once I heard US morning was the best time. Guess that wasn't right then.

 

Nope, somewhere starting in the afternoon like 12:30 noon and you'll get a few Diggs just to get noticed for the big rise in members at about 2:45 pm.

 

US people would think noon 12 best
UK people would think noon 12 best

Indian people would think noon 12 best

Aussies people would think noon 12 best

Means whole world think 12 in the noon is the best time.

And every where there won't be possibilities of same time,

So i would prefer any time to submit in Digg.

It just worthless thread to talk about stupid things.

 

No it's best in EST or Eastern Standard Time US because most people that use Digg live in the US.

 

I would do mid-day as suggested above and if you
aren't able to do that, mid-evening, like after dinner
time for EST. I've found that it increases during
that time too.

 

I would say figure out where your traffic is coming from and then target that country for submitting. I am in the U.S. so if that was my goal I would submit later in the afternoon, early evening.

Personally I submit whenever I have time to post. Since I blog for traffic, social bookmarking, and search engine bait, I do not really see that it matters when you submit as much as that you do it on a consistent basis and target the right keyword phrases.

 

Around 10PM is the optimum time to get more digg

best time is anytime there are a lot of people on - gauge that according to number of diggs. More frontpage diggs (2000+) the more likely you are to get more diggs, more users = more people looking. The times where it's low in traffic isn't good because it means lots of content being looked at by few people, all of which are competing against each other for diggs - so dupes, spam, and anything not particularly amazing will be ignored or worse yet buried. Best time is about 3-5pm EST imo.

Yea, I think afternoon to early evening is good, when people are widning down from work.

 

4 0'clock eastern us time afternoon is the best time

 

I would go with a Monday or Tuesday because statistically these are the days when the most people are on the internet.

Time of day depends on the niche and location you are targeting.
