    Just noticed people here posting facebook as resource. Ive never used that before but apparently need to. In my experience twitter is awesome when used correctly.

    Facebook and twitter are good tools to get traffic. But if it is not used effectively then you wont get atleast minimum traffic from them. It is not just creating account and leaving off, spend more time give useful information and attract people.

    I have gotten thousands of hits on Twitter and I don't even use it to it's full potential, mostly just posting a link every now and then.

    You can hook it up to your RSS feed using a service like twitterfeed.com and have each new post auto-tweeted. I'm sure with FB you can do something similar.
