I recently received an email from one of my sites asking me the difference between a sales page and a article. One of the guys was submitting a product to sale and wanted to know which of the two is needed for what he wanted to do. I point everyone who emails me to this forum and I post the questions. So here it is.

    Thanks DP

IMO, anything can do "sales", it all depends on how use it. My guess is that people use articles more to gain attention, where as a sales page would drive the sales home.

Typically an "article" is just a webpage that is keyword rich and draws traffic from search engines, then it links visitors to a sales page to convert them into buyers.

The guy need both of it.

If you lack either one of it,then you'll be losing some potential customer.
