What is your idea about this.

Hi

I was looking for a theme for my article directory, which is using wordpress and articlesss plugin. I didn't find any theme that supports articlesss plugin. then I created a theme by myself. I worked hard and it was really good. better than I expected.. loads fast.

in April 3 PR update, my Pagerank dropped. from 2 to 0.

and my question is, if I publish my theme through wordpress and giving it for free, could I get a good Pagerank again ? I mean the theme has a link in bottom to my website.

what is your idea about this.

p.s. I don't like any other site has the same theme I have. I created this because I needed an unique theme. that articlesss plugin supported only one theme which is a simple red colored one.

 

Excellent theme..! Yes, it can add more backlinks to your site but again apart from links, there are many things considered to boost the PR of a site.

 

Nice website... Work hard in SEO part... My website OnlineWebDirectory.com also loss PR few days ago: PR5->PR3. Most of the people called it's Google Dancing & happening time to time. Otherwise you lossed some quality backlinks.

 

you have a unique theme there. But if you give away for free, it's no longer unique...
I suggest building backlinks through article submission, directory submission and other link building strategy that will definitely boost your PR. ou don;t have to give away theme to get tons of backlinks. There many other ways to do that.

 

If you offered it for free, yes you will receive a ton of backlinks.
it's actually a method that someone on the WF sold, I believe last year.

 

try others methods to get PR.. Having unique theme is also good for a blog..
