If you surrender your life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit can guide you and help you to become successful. But you must be obedient in giving tithe and live your life according to God's commandments in the bible.

 

Hunger... I mean you have to be starving for your goal so bad.

You said something about fearing failure. To me that isn't even in the equation.

Hunger.

 

So if what you propose isn't done... Then, that is a sure fire way to fail...?

Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the 10 commandments written on a stone tablet. One of them was "Thou shalt not kill". Yet the *next day* he killed a bunch of his own people for worshiping the golden calf while he was up on the mountain.
If Moses didn't have to obey God's laws then why should we be expected to?
Also if you could see the vehicles I drive and the house I live in, you'd probably wonder how it is I've done so well considering I haven't always obeyed God's laws.

I think there are two types of success. The first one is reached in order to please others and second one is reached to please yourself.
The first one is just an illusion, because people never satisfy with the things they receive.
the second one is more real. If you are happy, and satisfy with yourself, your friends and family will be like that. If you have money is good...but there is a pleasure beyond having power and money. Inner peace.
If you have inner peace no matter money, power, beauty every place will be perfect, and every moment with your beloved ones will be perfect.

Failure does not exist. It is only one step to the goal. If you fall, it is part of the process. Making mistakes help you to understand how it works. Failure is just an invention to keep people thinking that they are not good enough to make it real. So don't fall in that trap.

 

I totally agree with you Nucita, as shown by the responses, it all comes down to inner peace &/ inner satisfaction. The goals may be different but the reason behind it is always the same.

My motivation in life is to always strive to know who I am. Self-realization is the most important realization for every human being. To know who you really are is the main purpose of the human birth. Knowing who you are is the end of knowledge. Realizing that you are limitless and eternal will allow the peace and love that is natural in you to radiate without obstruction. The body, mind and ego die upon the arrival of death. Awareness never dies.

Being in touch with awareness provides me with unlimited motivation.

My motivation has always come from within, my faith in a higher power and personal purpose.

I believe every single person has an important purpose in life. Not everybody attains their purpose or even realizes that it exists, but it is still there.

We have our special talents for a reason beyond just making money. We receive so that we can give back.

I am inspired to change the world. If all I did was make money online and make music (which are my greatest passions), it would mean nothing if I didn't also make a difference in another person's life.
