What kind of cms or plugins used?

Hi people.. i like to know what cms is used in ehow.com

if its a custom one.. can u sugggest me what plugins in wordpress or joomla can help me make such a site. like .. what i mean is .. a tutorial site, where the contents will be posted by users, they have ratings etc.. The content should contain Description, Things needed, Instructions, Tips and warnings , The main page should be attractive and busy like that.. showing alot of content and polls etc..can anyone suggest me please..


I am quite new to wordpress or joomla.. also suggest which is better for such a site

I think they got a custom platform, but you can do pretty much the same with Wordpress and a few plugins

but i need something that customizes the layout of contents.. like how i said.. show a things needed box in the widget or content area.. difficulty of the tutorial. instructions in a place , then post tips and warnings for that tutorial in a separate box.etc..

hey, how a template separates things needed etc .. content and excerpt are separately given in wordpress. similarly i want custom content writing which helps me create my own custom topics in the writing area so they appear separately

 

For custom writing you can go to craigslist and hire someone. Its not free unless you do it yourself

 

Wordpress or Joomla, they are the best on that field.
