    I was interested in DVD, the competition was absolutely rubbish (especially in the UK) so I joined up with another guy and we created a website in 2001. I wrote the CMS and everything around it, whilst he became an editor.

    DVD isn't a profitable subject, so it's a hobby rather than a money making scheme, in fact I think that being less commercial than rivals has helped since visitors trust our content (I refuse to allow product placement for example).
