What other ink cartridges can i use to replace the Dell ink cartridge of my printer?

I was told i am limited to Dell ink cartridges only and that my printer doesn't allow other cartridges...is this true guys?

Or are there other cheaper options for me, i'm feeling ripped off by Dell by their prices.

I always check the cost of cartridges before buying a printer. I find cannon really good. I once used a second party cartridge on a printer and it killed my printer.

It may be cheaper to do some research and buy a new printer.

Maybe your right, the cheapest option for me from Dell is € 59,83 and it's a dubbel pack, i can't even choose a single pack for this dual color cartridge.

I'm wondering if i can use alternate cartridges but when hearing your experience i'm kind of warry for this.

Thanks for the suggestion but they currently do not ship internationally :(

They charged $20 something, so that would have been nice.
But i see now there are other options and there will (must be hopefully) something similar in The Netherlands as well.

Don't judge a cartridge just by its price; the number of pages it can print is just as important. That figure will change depending on how much ink you use on a page; the industry-standard is 5% coverage per page for each color. Some companies make yield information available on the Web along with other printer specifications; others will provide it if you ask.

yes of course. the cartridge is expensive part of the printer. it's sometimes reach almost 70% of brand new unit.

Of course not. Any printer can support any type of ink cartridges. You can try different types of cartridges in your printer other than Dell i.e., Cannon, HP, Samsung toner cartridges, etc.
