You should learn WHAT YOU LIKE and what you have some talent with. People make money online on various specialties: SEO, web design, programming, content creation, virtual assistant jobs etc.

What do you know and like? I for example am good with layout creation, HTML/CSS and porting the template for some platforms I've worked with and am confident on (Vbulletin, Wordpress, MyBB etc.). I don't like SEO or working as a copywriter, though I do these tasks for my sites. So, I stick to web design mostly.

So, you need to see what you know and like and start from there ;)

Well, what do you like? Do you like coding? Do you like creating content? Or do you like to ask questions? You can always read about internet marketing, or how to freelance. There's a lot of money to be paid here on the internet. it's all about what you want to know, and what you want to do.

If you're starting out then start reading on forums a bit more just to pickup the common terminologies and what works and what doesn't etc.

Don't read too much though because really forums are indeed a double-edged sword.

There's as much misinformation as there's information. But read for awhile and you should pretty soon get a sense of what you think might be best suited for your abilities and then take action.

Don't just sit all day reading and wondering what to do and what not. Take action.

Start with your most favorite one. Do all the tasks you have knowledge about, with cheap rate. Once you are expert on any part do this seriously & stick with it. You will get results :).

Learn what you like and need. You just need to be dedicated and hard working, there will be learning experiences a long the way. I'm trying to do the same thing, and start a profitable business(on the web) from scratch.

Just look around and start practising. If you don't have any skills, do something easier like buying and selling domains.

You can't go out and look for a way to make money online. You need to have a passion for something or desire to learn something for a reason of your own. Then one day you can turn round and realise that you are good enough to be able to offer this professionally to others.

At the moment, reading your post I would dream of contracting you to do any work for me. I would want someone who sounded professional for a start. Maybe work on conveying yourself better with your posts. I really dont like people who write like this... and then something else... blah just learn to write properly please.

It's a tricky question....There is no need to be professional to earn money. Domain knowledge is most important....:)
